Workshops a Success

Tim Hare conducted a workshop titled: Geograpahical Tools to Faccilitate Population Activities, March 6th.

The First Annual MSU GeoClub GPS Scavenger Hunt Helf April 10th was a success.

Over 25 students participated located strategic locations around the Morehead State University Campus.

The following workshops were held under the auspices of Water Education for Teachers (Project WET)  directed by April Haight.

Tim Hare presented the following workshops for K-12 teachers:
 "Geographical Tools to Facilitate Class Activities with Project Wet."  April 19th.
 "WOW!  The Wonders of Wetlands." April 19th.
 
At the recent  local chapter of Kentucky Association of Professional Surveyors (KAPS) meeting Tim Hare presented on Height Mod April 24th.
 
Future workshops presentations include:
Mapping Kentucky's Historical Markers at the Student Technology Leadership Celebration. May 7-8.

K-12 educators will join The Environmental Education Center headed by April Haight to will host Tim Hare as part of Project Learning Tree series scheduled for May 23th

Tim Hare will present a workshop for the Water Education For Teachers (Project WET) May 29th. He will be conducting a mapping activity.
